KPJ Healthcare University College (KPJUC) has successfully organised Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) Week on May 23–26, 2023. This event was a premier gathering of industry leaders, experts, and professionals dedicated to championing a culture of safety and health in the workplace. The event offers an array of engaging sessions, interactive exhibitions, and networking opportunities, all aimed at equipping organisations with the necessary tools and insights to enhance their safety protocols. The programme held in conjunction with World Occupational Safety and Health Day, celebrated yearly on April 28, was officiated by Occupational Safety and Health High Committee KPJUC, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Izham Mohd Zain, on May 23, 2023. The theme ‘Let’s Act Together To Build A Positive Safety And Health Culture’ was chosen to enhance awareness of the key role that everyone should play in cultivating a culture of accident prevention through positive intervention with tact and courtesy.
According to the KPJUC OSH High Committee Assoc. Prof. Dr. Izham Mohd Zain, the main objective of KPJUC OSH Week 2023 was to promote and make OSH an essential agenda in creating KPJUC community members who would be sensitive to aspects of occupational safety and health at the workplace, at home, and elsewhere. He also hoped that organising an event such as KPJUC OSH Week 2023 would stimulate and cultivate the OSH culture at KPJUC continuously to support KPJUC in achieving excellence in various fields and becoming a distinguished healthcare university in Malaysia.
Various activities, such as talks on safety and health, blood donation campaigns, and exhibitions, were conducted throughout the programme. The talks delivered by various external agencies during the programme were:

- Kecemasan Bukan Kebakaran (BOMBA)
- Harapan Bertukar Kehampaan (Jab. Siasatan Jenayah Komersil, PDRM)
- Fundamentals of Chemical Management at Workplaces (DOSH)
- Skim Perlindungan & Faedah-Faedah Yang layak (PERKESO)
- Pemantapan Nilai Integriti Dalam Tugas Harian (SPRM)
- Penyalahgunaan Dadah di Tempat Kerja (Agensi Anti Dadah Kebangsaan)
