His journey in medicine began at the St. John Institution in Kuala Lumpur, where he laid the foundation for his future career. His academic pursuits led him to the University of Science, Malaysia, where he earned his medical degree. With a commitment to continuous learning and specialization, he furthered his education by obtaining a Master’s in Emergency Medicine from the same institution. His thirst for knowledge and skill development led him to diverse experiences, including a clinical attachment at the National Heart Institute, Kuala Lumpur, and advanced training in Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear, and Explosive (CBRNE) situations at DRDC, Suffield Canada. Prof. Dr. Rashidi Ahmad’s educational journey culminated with a Fellowship in Pain Management at Daradia Pain Clinic, Calcutta.

Prof. Dr. Rashidi Ahmad’s career is marked by a series of influential roles and responsibilities. Currently, he serves as the Head of Unit A&E and Consultant Emergency Physician at KPJ Seremban Specialist Hospital, where he continues to lead and make a positive impact on patient care. His leadership extends to academia, where he holds the position of Dean and Professor at the Graduate School of Medicine, KPJ University. His previous roles include Head of Unit A&E and Consultant Emergency Physician at KPJ Johor Specialist Hospital, Clinical Professor at the School of Medicine, KPJ University College, and Professor and Consultant Emergency Physician at UMMC.

Prof. Dr. Rashidi Ahmad’s contributions extend to the international stage. He is renowned as a professional speaker for the Southeast Asia Regional Counter-Terrorism (SEARCCT) program under the Kementerian Dalam Negeri in Malaysia, where he shares his expertise in emergency medicine and disaster response.
